How To Obtain the Domain Registry Key

The Registry Key, also known as the Domain Password, is a combination password code that allows you to transfer your Domain Name to another Registrar. Here’s how you can find it:

Locating Your Registry Key

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. On your Dashboard, find the domain name you need the Registry Key for and click the gear ⚙️ icon.
   
   

   IMPORTANT

   • Not having the gear icon or the MANAGE button on Domain Registration means that your domain is registered elsewhere, may have expired, or is in another Crazy Domains account. Renew your domain name or transfer it to Crazy Domains now.  
   • Check where your domain name is registered with the Crazy Domains WHOIS lookup.  
3. On the Domain Name page, click the hamburger ☰ icon  and select Registry Key.
   
   
   
   
   A pop-up box will display your domain’s Registry Key.
   
   
    

IMPORTANT: Protect Your Registry Key

The Registry Key allows anyone to transfer your domain away from Crazy Domains. Do not share this password with anyone. Once transferred, we lose full control of your domain and can no longer protect it. Customers who have transferred away often return after having been overcharged for domain services. Please be careful.
